Strategy
The basic concept behind this deck is to take advantage of venoshock as much as you possibly can
Salandit from MI is an easy throw-in because it requires a single neutral energy for its Venoshock, essentially a free additional type into a Celebi heavy meta, as well as a one energy 50 damage attack (70 on grass, one shots poisoned Snivy/Servile) from a basic pokémon
Bruxish essentially has a water-type venoshock under a different name, as any poisoned pokémon will already have damage on it when Bruxish comes out. For only a single water energy of two total, this is a pretty easy basic add-on for 70 damage against poisoned enemies (will one shot poisoned Ralts/Kirlia, Abra/Kadabra, Jynx, etc in addition to Snivy/Servile) with a decent health bar to boot, while also giving potential advantage against another type
Originally I had Scolipede line in this deck but after looking at the comparison with Muk line:
- additional evolution needed
- same energy cost
- same damage payout
- access to poison gated behind tier 1 rather than at basic level
- can't be Koga'd
So it just didn't make sense in the end and I replaced it with Muk, which also allowed for the Bruxish addition and another supporter
Use Grimer and Weezing to poison, use MI Koffing to pull second Koffing if needed, use Leaf to get Grimer out if needed, use Koga to get Muk and Weezing out
Kill poisoned stuff
