Koga's Dragonite

Low barrier to entry, easy to play, non-ex deck that consistently wipes many meta Genetic Apex decks (including Pikachu ex and Mewtwo ex). 

Remember to turn dark energy generation off in the deck builder  -- this deck does not use it.

The main strategy is to set up Dragonair on the bench as soon as possible. Keep Weezing active while setting up. 

Assign all energy to Dratini/Dragonair while stalling with Weezing. Weezing does chip damage at no energy cost through Gas Leak. Avoid evolving Dragonair on the bench unless absolutely necessary. This helps keep its retreat cost low in case the opponent plays Sabrina.

When Weezing is about to faint (defensive), or Dragonair is ready to evolve (offensive), use Koga to swap your active card for free. Remember to put Koffing back on the bench. 

For a defensive Koga, send Koffing or Weezing into the active slot. Remember to evolve Koffing, if possible. 

For an offensive Koga, move Dragonair to active the slot, evolve it and assign its fourth and final energy before attacking with Draco Meteor. 

Draco Meteor always does 200 damage ACROSS all opponent's active AND benched cards. The spread of damage is random, but most playmats do not survive 2 Draco Meteors. At 160hp, Dragonite can almost always attack twice. Be cautious of opposing cards that have attacks that do 150 damage or more.

While this deck does not rely on coin flips, there is still some amount of luck involved with Draco Meteor hitting the right targets. Furthermore, because this deck needs 2 types of energy, it may take a few extra turns to get one of each energy types. Koga helps buy time. Potions can also help keep Weezing alive, but they're best saved for Dragonite. 

This deck easily achieves 45 wins in the current Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1 meta. Just be weary of any fighting decks (especially promo-Mankey) and well-executed Charizard ex decks.
