Trainers

  • Rare Candy x2
  • Cyrus x2
  • Irida x2
  • Mars x1

The strategy is easy, Oricorio in front as tank for pokemon ex, greninja in the back doing damage with his ability and Giratina ex obtaining enery with his ability.

With this deck we want to use 2 types of energy, electric and water energy. Electric energy in order to attack with oricorio and water energy tu use attacks with greninja and healing pokemons using Irida

Rampardos Silvally

Pokémon

  • Cranidos x1
  • Rampardos x2
  • Type: Null x2
  • Silvally x2
  • Skull Fossil x2

  • Rare Candy x2
  • Gladion x2
  • Iono x1
  • Mars x1
  • Professor's Research x2
  • Red x1
  • Sabrina x1

Rampardos is one of those regular Pokémon whose power level is on par with Pokémon ex. For just 1 Energy, Head Smash deals 130 damage, an unmatched rate in Pokémon TCG Pocket (not even rivaled by any Pokémon ex so far). The attack comes with a drawback: if it knocks out the Defending Pokémon, Rampardos takes 50 recoil damage. Still, the upside of trading a Pokémon ex for a single point makes it well worth the cost. Rampardos can withstand both the self-damage and attacks from opposing Pokémon thanks to its solid 150 HP.

  • Kiawe x2

Preferably start with your turtles and charge them up with Kiawe and clean up with Incineroar at the end. But opening with Incineroar and cleaning up with a turtle afterwards isn't that bad, but it will be easier for your opponent to score 3 points that way. Incineroar can immediately swing with fire fang when coming off the bench which is why you play him instead of something like Charizard or Infernape that take longer to get started since Turtonator will be eating up your energy every turn it attacks.

Hyper acceleration! Energy acceleration go fast. Best start is usually manaphy. If going second, just put manaphy in active to make opponent think you got no pokemon and are bricking. Can't afford to be early punished by sabrina. Start eevee? Pray you get manaphy. Eevee is the one that does 20 damage because damage needs to be guaranteed against caped pokemon. Build energy to vaporeon, palkia ex. Irida is here to reduce cyrus chances. Misty for more hyper acceleration! Pull off 150 and bench damage by your second turn! Doesn't do well late game, and gets crushed by electric decks.

Dialga ex can consistently power up an Arceus ex, which can attack for as much as 130 the following turn. Because Arceus ex is a basic, it doesn't need to find evolutions like the other Dialga ex partners.

Both Shaymins are useful for Arceus ex and Dialga ex, with Space-Time Smackdown Shaymin helping them stay out of KO range, and Triumphant Light Shaymin reducing Retreat Costs.
