Launching a Patreon for PTCGP Tracker

Hello,

I've launched a Patreon for PTCGP Tracker.

PTCGP Tracker has experienced rapid growth, leading to a significant increase in traffic and, consequently, higher maintenance costs.

To keep the platform free for everyone, I started displaying ads. However, the ad provider's validation process is lengthy and uncertain, leaving me to cover all costs so far.

Pokémon Language Persistence, Italian Addition, Dashboard Tweaks, and Tap-to-Add Feature

Hello,

I've recently implemented a few updates:

  • Persistent Pokémon Language: The selected Pokémon language will now remain until you choose to change it.
  • Italian Pokémon Language: Added Italian as a language option for Pokémon. This was straightforward since most names are similar to English, with only a few exceptions.
  • Dashboard UI Changes: I'm making gradual adjustments to the dashboard. These are minor tweaks rather than major overhauls.
  • Tap to Add: You can now tap a card in a set to increase its count by one.

Some news

Website Growth and Future

Our user base continues to grow, and we are nearing 30,000 accounts created.

This growth has required additional personal investment in the website. I scaled up the hosting two days ago, which some of you may have noticed during a brief maintenance period when the site was offline for about 10 minutes. There is still much work to be done behind the scenes to maintain a stable platform with good performance.

I will continue to keep this website free for everyone to use.

News about the future and some updates about new Fixes/Features

Hello,

Exciting News! We are thrilled to announce that we are close to reaching 2,000 registrations in less than a week!

With such rapid growth and being a solo developer, I will need to invest more in email services and hosting to ensure the website maintains its performance, security, and stability. These upgrades come with additional costs.

To keep the website free for everyone, I am considering adding ads in the future to create a self-sustaining and healthy platform.
